Conservativism and the Dumbing of Americans...

What better way to control a country? Keep it in the dark and feed it shit. Certainly not a new concept. Hitler, Stalin, etc., used it with great success. Feed your constituents fear by fanning the flames of nearly anything to make it anathema. All a politician, preacher, rock star or anyone who has their own agenda has to do is start their rumor mill going and soon people actually start believing. Belief in the improbable, as spoken aloud by someone in front of a camera and/or large crowd of hand-chosen conservatives is much easier than actually finding information out and forming an opinion for yourself. Sheep are easily led around...kept in a herd...letting the wolves cull the few "trouble-makers" who have their own opinions.

Use your eyes to see...your ears to listen...your voice to ask questions...but most of all, use your head. Have an original thought. Don't get caught up in hatred. Practice those "Christian", Muslim, or other religious ideals that foment love and understanding. After all, they aren't really religious ideals. They're HUMAN ideals. HUMANE ideals. Go out and make the world a better place. Not a festering cesspool of hatred.
